Former President Donald Trump expressed his gratitude to Brittany Mahomes, the spouse of Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes Jr., for championing his 2024 Make America Great Again campaign.
Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Wednesday to extend his thanks to Brittany Mahomes for her staunch support.
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” he wrote.
“With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM,” Trump added.

He concluded the post by calling the Mahomes’ a “great couple,” and added, “See you both at the Super Bowl!”
In his original Instagram post, Trump outlined “The 2024 GOP Platform” aiming to “Make America Great Again,” with policies including tax reductions, elimination of taxes on tips, border security, and halting illegal immigration.
He also promised to “end inflation,” “Make America Affordable Again,” and “Keep men out of women’s sports.”
Brittany not only liked the post but also defended herself against those who criticized her support of Trump, shooting back a pointed message to those people on her Instagram Story.
“I mean honestly,” she wrote. “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood.”
“There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well,” Mahomes noted.
Less than a week later, Brittany was a guest on the Whoop podcast, where she said she no longer cares about public opinion, lauding her NFL star husband for teaching her to disregard others’ judgments.
“I think we got kind of thrown into the fire together, and I think that’s what helped us, you know, do so well in the life that we are, is that we did it all together,” she remarked.
Brittany said Patrick is “a lot better at it” than she is, possibly because he grew up with a father for a professional athlete. Patrick Mahomes Sr. was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1992 to 2003.
NEW: Brittany Mahomes says she doesn’t “give a f***” what people think about her just days after she received backlash for supporting Trump.

“So I think he was around it and he understood it a lot more than I did. So having him to help me get through it has helped a lot because he’s very good at, you know, managing those things and blocking people out,” she noted.
When asked about advice that has helped her manage public scrutiny, she again credited her husband.
“I think the main thing, you know, he always told me is like, stop caring what people think, especially the people that don’t even know you,” Brittany remarked.
“And so I think social media used to get to me a lot, and now it’s just like, ‘Honestly, I don’t give a f**k (which she spelled) what people have to say about me anymore, and I think he’s helped me get to that point to where I’m strong in who I am; I’m confident in who I am,” she concluded.
On Wednesday, Trump gave a shout out to Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz estranged brother, Jeff Walz, who he claimed is also a supporter.
“I was truly honored today,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity during a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania town hall. “His brother endorsed me.”
“And his whole family [supports me],” Trump said in reference to an image of some of Gov. Walz relatives wearing “Nebraska Walz’s for Trump” t-shirts.
“I saw the picture, and honestly It was a very nice-looking family,” he added.
Jeff Walz came out swinging against his politician brother in a scathing interview with News Nation.

“The stories I could tell,” he said about the Minnesota governor. “Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
While speaking to Hannity, Trump slung back an insult that Gov. Walz has coined for his VP pick Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance.
At the time, Jeff said he “thought long and hard” about publicly endorsing Trump, but has been “torn between that and just keeping my family out of it.”
“There’s something weird with that guy,” he commented of Walz. “He’s a weird guy. JD is not weird. He’s a solid rock. I happen to be a very solid rock.”
“We’re not weird. We’re other things, perhaps, but we’re not weird,” Trump concluded. “There’s something wrong with that guy, and he calls me weird.”
