VP Harris Called Out For Posting Fake Christmas Photo With Husband

Vice President Kamala Harris got caught up by internet sleuths for posting a Christmas photo that was less than authentic.

Harris shared a surprisingly unpolished photo of herself and husband Doug Emhoff making a holiday dinner in the kitchen on Christmas Day.

“Merry Christmas to all. May your day be filled with love, family, and good food,” she captioned the candid snap. “P.S. We are making Christmas beef Wellington.”

But eagle-eyed social media users were quick to point out that the photo was not actually taken on Christmas Day.

An X, formerly Twitter, user zeroed in on the digital clock in the background of the picture to reveal that Harris and her husband were actually photographed on Christmas Eve.

“You took this photo yesterday tho,” Mostly Peaceful Memes captioned a zoomed in screenshot of the date and time on the clock.

Harris was savaged by social media critics for seemingly staging the pic.

“Nothing VP does is authentic,” wrote Breitbart’s pentagon correspondent Kristina Wong.

“This entire administration believes they are in some off off Broadway play,” another added.

“Nothing is real. They literally have a stage where they set [Biden] up on with a giant teleprompter.”

While several Harris defenders were quick to point out that a lot of festive dinner prep work occurs on the day before the holiday.

“So what? It is a good practice to do the bulk of Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner the day before so it doesn’t take all day, on the day of,” one person replied.

“Such trivial details are unimportant to the spirit of the post.”

“Also, probably preparing for today’s dinner yesterday,” another cook snapped back. “I prepped yesterday. That’s what most people do.”

“Anyone who knows anything about making beef wellington knows you start the day before,” a home chef concurred.

However, social media critics had another bone to pick with Harris about what type of stove she was using to prepare the meal.

“I see you cropped out the gas stove this time,” Mostly Peaceful Memes pointed out.

While someone else said the pair “perfectly posed to hide the gas stove” they were clearly cooking on.

“Gas stove with red meat on it… exactly what they want to take away from Americans,” added conservative comedian Tim Young.

Elsewhere on social media, Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was widely panned for comparing Jesus Christ to modern day Palestinians.

“In the story of Christmas, Christ was born in modern-day Palestine under the threat of a government engaged in a massacre of innocents. He was part of a targeted population being indiscriminately killed to protect an unjust leader’s power,” she began in a lengthy Instagram post.

“Mary and Joseph, displaced by violence and forced to flee, became refugees in Egypt with a newborn waiting to one day return home.”

“Thousands of years later, right-wing forces are violently occupying Bethlehem as similar stories unfold for today’s Palestinians, so much so that the Christian community in Bethlehem has canceled this year’s Christmas Eve celebrations out of both safety and respect,” AOC controversially continued.

“And yet, also today, holy children are still being born in a place of unspeakable violence — for every child born, of any identity and from any place, is sacred. Especially the children of Gaza,” her Christmas message concluded.

The squad members post was blasted for the antisemitic holiday messaging by furious internet commenters.

“AOC describes Israel as a ‘violent right wing occupying force’ in [her] Christmas post. No mention of Hamas terror, the victims of Oct. 7 attack,” reporter Jacob N. Kornbluh wrote.

“Jesus was a Jew who suffered,” a rabbi replied.

“Turning his suffering into a story of Jewish persecution echoes the most toxic antisemitic trope of them all. Shame on you.”
