Donald Trump Jr. blasted the Paris Olympic Games’ Opening Ceremony for featuring drag queens in a scene reminiscent of da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’.
The controversial display at Friday’s ceremony included 18 performers arranged behind what appeared to be a long table, with the River Seine and the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop.
The setup mimicked the final meal of Jesus Christ and his apostles as depicted in the New Testament and famously painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the 1490s.
In the Opening Ceremony’s living picture, Jesus Christ was portrayed by an overweight woman in a dress with a plunging neckline, while the apostles were mostly depicted by drag queens in bright wigs.
NEW: The Paris Olympics is under fire for including a *child* in their hyper-s*xualized, blasphemous rendition of The Last Supper.

Trump Jr. condemned the performance as “seemingly satanic” and spoke about what the Olympics meant to his family as a child.
“My mom was an Olympian (Czech Natl Ski Team), and as a kid, we would be excited for weeks leading up to the games,” he tweeted.
“Now with the ever predictable (& seemingly satanic to me) drag queen opening ceremonies and never ending bs, no one I know even thinks about it beyond maybe watching some highlights.”
What’s so wrong with France?
I don't understand what message they are trying to send to the world…What are they trying to prove? Such a fall, why France?
Why such a disappointing & disgraceful opening ceremony for the Olympics? pic.twitter.com/YIGkLFKUpq

He said it was “such a shame” that the Olympics, which once inspired “so much national pride,” now “at best” creates “indifference.”
“Using the games to push woke ideology has zero to do with anything the games stands for,” Trump Jr. slammed.
“Rather than highlighting the incredible accomplishments of these amazing athletes [corporate] media subverts all their hard work to push leftist insanity… it’s not only a shame, but a true disservice to some of the most talented and dedicated people on earth.”
“Hopefully one day enough people will finally have had enough of the BS,” he concluded. “Till then you can continue to watch everything good and decent and everything you hold dear get burned to the f…ing ground. The choice is yours.”
Donald Jr.’s mother, Ivana Trump, claimed she was chosen as an alternate for the Czechoslovakia ski team at the 1972 Olympics in Grenoble in 1988.

The Secretary General of that country’s Olympic Committee denied the claim, and a 2021 investigation by Snopes revealed that Czechoslovakia didn’t send female alpine skiers to the 1972 Olympic games.
Regarding the performance, several Christians have taken to social media to criticize it as disgraceful.
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker expressed his disgust on both Instagram and X, formerly Twitter.
“This is crazy,” he captioned in an Instagram Story over a clip of the opening ceremony on Friday.
On Friday, Butker then posted a verse from the book of Galatians, which reads, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap.
“For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.”
Plenty of people agreed with Butker’s hot take, including Piers Morgan, who posted on X Saturday, “Btw, what the f*ck was all this about? A drag queen mockery of the Last Supper at the Olympics?”
Btw, what the f*ck was all this about? A drag queen mockery of the Last Supper at the Olympics? Would they have mocked any other religion like this? Appalling decision. pic.twitter.com/50uREKJEJd

“Would they have mocked any other religion like this? Appalling decision,” the Fox News host added.
Former NCAA swimming champ Riley Gaines, who has been vocal against allowing male athletes to compete as females in sports, also commented on the performance.
“Men in wigs front & center at the Olympic Games. No one ever tell me this group is ‘oppressed’ or ‘marginalized’ again,” she wrote.
A Paris 2024 spokesperson addressed the backlash, “Clearly, there was never an intention to show disrespect towards any religious group or belief.”
“On the contrary, each of the tableaux in the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony were intended to celebrate community and tolerance,” they added.
The rep further explained that artistic director Thomas Jolly “took inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting” of the Last Supper for the ceremony’s “Festivities” segment to “create the setting.”
“He is not the first artist to make a reference to what is a world-famous work of art,” the spokesperson concluded. “From Andy Warhol to the Simpsons, many have done it before him.”
NEW: The artistic director responsible for the Paris opening ceremony says he mocked 2.4 billion Christians with drag queens so “everybody feels represented.”
During an interview, Thomas Jolly opened up about the “beautiful responsibility” he has as an “artist.”

Jolly, who is openly gay, did not hint that the Opening Ceremony would be controversial during an interview before the broadcast, but did note the importance of inclusion and representation.
“How do you write a show in which everybody, at one point, feels represented and a part this bigger thing, this bigger ‘us’?” he remarked.
“It’s ambitious but also complex because one has to broaden one’s own imagery, one’s own outlook and include everyone, understand everyone so that no one feels left behind.”
Critics labeled the four-hour show as the ‘worst ever’, with viewers reporting poor audio due to heavy rain.
Performances by Lady Gaga and about 3,000 dancers, acrobats, and actors were reportedly hard to hear over the downpour.
The depiction of the Last Supper wasn’t the only strange scene in Jolly’s show. One notably odd moment involved a giant platter decorated with fake fruits and other foods—with a ‘smurf’ lying with them.
The performer, who donned a skintight blue bodysuit, reportedly depicted the Greek God of wine, festivity, and theater, Dionysus.

Another unexpected moment saw several dozen headless Marie Antoinettes in a nod to the nation’s history, while one of the performers sang with her severed head in her lap.
Friday’s event also included a male performer, who had a wardrobe malfunction, when one of his testicles fell out of his lady undergarment.
