Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker blasted President Joe Biden and policies centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), during a commencement speech he gave at Benedictine College this weekend.
The 2024 Super Bowl champ told graduates of the Catholic liberal arts school that Biden has turned his back on their shared religion by advocating for abortion rights.
“Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues,” Butler said on Saturday before listing off “things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values in media, all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder.”
“Our nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,” the kicker said about how Biden crossed himself during a speech made by a Florida Democrat.

Butker said that Biden has “been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies” that his views give the public perception that “you can be both Catholic and pro-choice.”
He claimed that Biden was “not alone” and said he had company in the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci.
“From the man behind the COVID lockdowns, to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common — they are Catholic,” the Chiefs star told the crowd in Atchison, Kansas. “This is an important reminder that being Catholic alone doesn’t cut it.”
In his speech, Butker also targeted DEI initiatives before critiquing a bill passed by the House that seeks to define anti-Semitism officially.
“The world around us says that we should keep our beliefs to ourselves whenever they go against the tyranny of diversity, equity and inclusion,” he continued. “We fear speaking truth because now unfortunately truth is in the minority.”
Butker ruffled liberal feathers when he wore a tie featured the Latin phrase for pro-life, “Vulnerari Praesidio” — “Protect the most vulnerable” — when the Chiefs visited the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win the year prior.
Another Super Bowl champion, former Steelers’ star Antonio Brown, took a jab at Biden while throwing his support behind Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid.
During his appearance on “Fearless with Jason Whitlock,” Brown was questioned about his political leanings.
When Whitlock asked if he was “not a fan” of Biden, Brown responded, “No, I like Donald Trump. I’ve got a good political opinion. But you know, I want the world to be a better place.”

Brown mused that Trump’s expertise in business would benefit the economy should he be re-elected.
“I just feel like, you know, the country … we need to do a better job. I’m saying with everything that’s been going on, the pandemic, the shots, the way that everything has been going,” the retired NFL star remarked.
Brown recalled a phone conversation he once had with Trump, facilitated legendary quarterback Tom Brady, who he was teammates with when they played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the end of both their football careers.
“I met him on a phone before where, I talked to him on the phone with Tom Brady one time. Yeah, he seemed like a cool guy,” Brown said about the conversation.
When asked if he believed Brady secretly supports Trump but won’t publicly admit it, Brown replied, “Probably, definitely. I can, though! Shout out to Donald Trump!”
Brown also addressed the comments he made about Biden appearing to be totally out of it in a video shared by RNC Research.

“Check this cr**ker for CTE,” Brown captioned the video of Biden almost getting hit in the face with a door as he was guided out of the rain by a handler.
The post went wildly viral and Biden’s social media account blocked Brown, who made a series of follow-up posts cracking on the president.
“I saw Joe Biden online; he was s****ing on himself and like, falling all over. I’m like, ‘yo, what’s going on with him?'” Brown said about the video.
