Comedian Kathy Griffin reignited her years-long feud with President Donald Trump this week, delivering an unhinged rant on her podcast where she accused him of stealing the 2024 election.
“I am going to be 65 on November 4th. So listen to aunt or grandma Kathy when I say our country has never been through anything this horrible in my lifetime,” Griffin began.
The comedian likened Trump to Richard Nixon, claiming, “The current so-called president is a fascist.”
Griffin went on to explain her version of fascism, saying it’s “an authoritarian or a dictator” and warning listeners that “it takes away all your powers of choice.”

I was told that denying election results is a threat to our democracy.

The 64-year-old comic, who once posed with a fake severed head resembling Trump in a 2017 stunt that derailed her career, returned to her anti-Trump roots during the latest episode of her YouTube show “The Un-Cancelation of Kathy Griffin.”
“People are calling this protest the No Kings Day, because Trump thinks he’s a f***ing king,” she said. “And you know he’s not. He’s barely a president.”
Griffin told her audience she didn’t believe Trump “won in a free and fair election,” insisting her theory might sound “crazy” but claiming that Elon Musk was “handing out million-dollar checks to people to vote for Trump,” an allegation she labeled “unconstitutional and illegal.”

The comedian went further, referring to Musk as “a fake genius” and “a professional Nazi.”
She also said it was “suspicious” that Trump won all seven swing states — something she called unprecedented in American history.
Hollywood’s anti-Trump crowd quickly joined Griffin’s meltdown. Liberal actor Robert De Niro called on Americans to take to the streets in a social media video for the Indivisible Project, referencing the nation’s founding rebellion against monarchy.
“The original No Kings protest was 250 years ago,” De Niro said. “Americans decided they didn’t want to live under the rule of King George III. They declared their independence and fought a bloody war for democracy.”
He continued, “Now we have a would-be king who wants to take it away, King Donald I. F**k that!”

De Niro told viewers to “rise up again,” describing the protests as “non-violent” demonstrations meant to reject Trump’s supposed power grab.
Actress Jean Smart also joined the push, releasing an Instagram video urging Americans to participate in a “No Kings Protest” planned for October 18.
Smart’s message framed Trump as a dictator in waiting and warned that “the most patriotic thing that you can do is say, ‘No Kings.’”

“The current resident of the White House thinks that he has everybody fooled,” Smart said.
“But he has made it abundantly clear that he admires dictators and wishes to be one. So please, find a peaceful No Kings protest near you.”
The protests, set to take place nationwide, are being organized under the banner of the “No Kings” movement, which launched in June.
Organizers claimed their earlier demonstrations “mobilized millions” and even “drowned out” Trump’s birthday parade, framing their efforts as a stand against “authoritarian power grabs.”
A statement on the group’s website reads, “Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and bigger. ‘NO KINGS’ is more than just a slogan; it is the foundation our nation was built upon.
“Born in the streets, shouted by millions, carried on posters and chants, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares.”
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy blasted the upcoming events on Fox Business Network, warning host Maria Bartiromo that the “No Kings” protests are “part of antifa” and questioning who was funding them.
“The ‘No Kings’ protest, Maria, really frustrating,” Duffy told the host. “This is part of antifa, paid protesters. It begs the question, who’s funding it?”
“But, yeah, Democrats want to wait for a big rally of a ‘No Kings’ protest when the bottom line is, who’s running the show in the Senate?”

Duffy suggested that left-wing protest organizers, not Democratic leaders, now control the party’s direction.
“Chuck Schumer is not running the show,” he said. “The No Kings protesters or organizers are running the show.”
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer appeared to endorse the protests earlier this year, boasting on social media in June that he was among the millions who marched.
“Over 5 million Americans marched on No Kings Day. And I was so proud to be one of them,” Schumer wrote in an X post.
Lisa Gilbert, co-president of Public Citizen and one of the protest’s lead organizers, said participation is expected to surpass the turnout from June.
She claimed the movement reflects “growing anger among the American public toward President Trump’s policies.”
“The anger level is way higher,” Gilbert claimed. “It’s not just policies we don’t like, but it’s also actual chipping away at democracy, at foundational rights and prerogatives that we all expect.”
