Actor Alec Baldwin had a tense encounter with comedian who approached him on a New York City street dressed as President Donald Trump.
The heated incident occurred as Baldwin was loading items into his car, and Jason Scoop, known for his Trump impressions, sparked the actor’s fury by heckling him about the death of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer he fatally shot on the “Rust” movie set.
Scoop started the interaction by saying, “Alec, it’s your favorite president,” referencing Baldwin’s portrayal of Trump on Saturday Night Live.
Scoop continued, “I will offer you a total pardon because I want to be friends, right? I will give you a total pardon for murdering that woman if you kiss the ring.”

The comedian, wearing a suit and blond wig, even raised his hand, saying, “Kiss the ring, Alec.”
Initially, Baldwin ignored him, but Scoop kept pushing, saying, “Alec, if you don’t want that pardon for murdering that woman in cold blood, you can call it first-degree, you can call it whatever you want, but it was not good.”
Scoop then claimed, “She’s looking down on me right now, smiling, happy. ‘Thank you for confronting the man who took me out, who killed me.’”
Visibly frustrated, Baldwin turned to Scoop and stated, “Now, now, now, let me ask you a question. Now I want you to look at me, look at me.”
He then asked, “You got a camera on me here?” before adding, “You realize my kids live in this building?”
Scoop kept his taunting Trump tone, responding, “We love the children, we’re doing great deals for the children.”
Baldwin, stepping closer to Scoop, tapped him on the shoulder and told him, “If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f*****g neck in half and break your f*****g neck, you know that don’t you?”

Scoop quickly backed away and quipped, “Alec Baldwin, class act.” Baldwin, now shouting, replied, “Why don’t you get out of here… I want you out of here!”
Scoop retorted with, “I’m a citizen, born and raised in New York City.” Baldwin responded angrily by threatening to “take that camera and shove it up your a**.”
The video ends with the comedian claiming, “He’s strong but also weak because he murdered that woman,” as Baldwin called for him to leave.
Throughout the altercation, Baldwin appeared on edge, clearly affected by Scoop’s provocative comments. The video has since gone viral with over 1.3 million views.
The heated reference to the “Rust” tragedy stems from an incident on October 21, 2021.
During a rehearsal on the movie set, a gun Baldwin was holding discharged, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
The actor has consistently maintained that he did not pull the trigger and was unaware the firearm contained live rounds.
The legal ramifications of the incident still haunt Baldwin. Last year, involuntary manslaughter charges against the actor were dismissed after it was found that evidence had been mishandled.
Meanwhile, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film’s armorer, was sentenced to 18 months in prison in April for her role in the deadly shooting.
More recently, Baldwin filed a civil lawsuit against the prosecutors handling his case, accusing them of defamation, malicious prosecution, and civil rights violations.
The lawsuit emerged after his trial for involuntary manslaughter was dismissed on July 12.
The confrontation with Scoop wasn’t Baldwin’s first run-in with a heckler wielding a camera.
Last April, Baldwin had an altercation with a woman at a New York City coffee shop.

Baldwin, who appeared to be finishing his order while speaking on the phone, was approached by the woman, who persistently harassed him.
Initially, the woman urged Baldwin to say, “Free Palestine,” repeating her request several times.
When Baldwin refused, she escalated the interaction, switching to accusations relating to the “Rust” incident.
“Why did you kill that lady?” she taunted. “You killed that lady and got no jail time. No jail time, Alec. No jail time.”
A store employee intervened, attempting to get the woman to leave, as Baldwin visibly grew irritated and ended his phone call.
The situation became more tense as the woman began shouting, “You’re putting innocent people in jail, Alec Baldwin. Free Palestine, Alec. Just one time and I’ll leave you alone. I swear. Just say, ‘Free Palestine’ one time.”
Unwilling to comply, Baldwin pointed towards the door, told her to leave, and instructed the shop employee to “call the police.”
The heckler, however, continued, “One time. One time, Alec. You know he’s a criminal.” She shouted, “Free Palestine. F* Israel. F* Zionism.”
At this point, Baldwin, visibly upset, re-entered the coffee shop and asked the barista for a favor.
While doing so, he swiftly swatted the phone from the woman’s hand and put an end to the video.
