Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, launched a blistering critique of Vice President Kamala Harris, branding her as the “worst candidate to ever run for president” and accusing her of struggling with “the easiest questions.”
Harris sat down for a contentious interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, where she spewed word salad and took shots at former President Donald Trump instead of answering the journalist’s questions about her “new way forward” campaign slogan.
According to Trump, the interview was such a disaster, he called for her cognitive abilities to be tested.
“They said that Comrade Kamala did a terrible job, the absolute worst in memory, and can’t be allowed to do it again,” he said in a Wednesday night Truth Social post. “She is also the WORST Vice President in history, but hopefully will soon be GONE.”
“For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!” Trump added.
Prior to the interview, Portnoy was already frustrated by Harris’ propensity to dodge straight forward questions during her media blitz.
In a video he tweeted on Sunday, the Barstool Sports CEO vented his frustration with politics, saying he felt compelled to and “blow off steam” after watching Harris speak.
While Harris campaigns as a “candidate for change,” he noted her inability to articulate how she differs from President Joe Biden during interviews, saying, “She cannot answer.”
Portnoy reminisced about Harris’s 2020 presidential bid, where she “didn’t get one vote” before withdrawing ahead of the primaries.
“Every once in a while I get so fed up with politics, I gotta do a rant and just let steam off,” he lamented.
If you don’t like my political rants don’t watch this. But how can Kamala Harris keep calling herself the candidate of change when she is the sitting VP? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Vote for whoever you want but I had to point out how crazy it is.

“I try not to, but I’ve hit the boiling point. And, it’s the gaslighting that the left is doing with Kamala Harris, making it sound like she’s some great, groundbreaking candidate. She is the worst candidate to ever run for president ever.”
He said that there are two types of voters in the upcoming election, those who are voting for Trump, and the people that hate him and are “voting against him.”
Portnoy said that he was pushed “over the edge” after watching Harris talk about introducing a “new way forward” during a rally, which she keeps repeating.
“She’s up there being like, ‘We need to turn the page in America, it’s time for a new way forward, and I’m your candidate for change,’” he explained.
“It’s the same message again. Time to turn the page. We need a new generation of leadership.”
Portnoy criticized Harris for claiming to be a change agent while serving as the current vice president.
“This is the sitting vice president of the United States currently saying she’s the candidate for change,” he remarked.
“Okay, fine, and by the way, she has to, because I think 90 percent of Americans left or right are going to be like, ‘The last four years under Biden not great.’”
He mentioned issues like inflation, unrest in the Middle East, which he said was “basically in flames,” and domestic concerns like rising inflation and social unrest.
“Then on the homeland, inflation out of control, people burning American flags in the street, the defund the police, law and order doesn’t seem to matter anymore,” Portnoy noted.
The Barstool CEO highlighted that Harris’s media blitz, which included”friendly interviews” on CBS’s Late Show and The View, featured her avoiding simple questions.
“When asked, ‘Kamala, how are you different from Joe Biden?’ she can’t answer. She’s essentially said, ‘I’m the same as Joe Biden.'”
“‘Hey, Kamala how are you different from Joe Biden? What will be different since you are the sitting vice president of the United States now and you are out saying you’re the candidate for change?’” he parroted the liberal host’s questions.
“She cannot answer it, she can’t answer it. She literally is saying, ‘Oh, I’ve pretty much been in every big decision. I’m the same as Joe Biden. I agree with him on everything,” Portnoy said about how she answered a question during her appearance on The View.
In her latest interview, she stumbled over her campaign’s “new way forward” slogan when pressed by Fox News host Bret Baier about how she’d differ from Biden.
BRET: “More than 70% of Americans feel the country is going badly.”
KAMALA: “Donald Trump has been running for office”
B: “But you’ve been the person holding the office”
K: “You and I both know what I’m talking about”
B: “I actually don’t. What are you talking about?” 🤣 pic.twitter.com/rslwSkysBR

“You’ve been vice president for three and a half years,” he posited. “So what are you turning the page from?”
“Well, first of all, turning the page from the last decade in which we have been burdened with the kind of rhetoric coming from Donald Trump that has been designed and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally point fingers at each other,” she rambled.
“Rhetoric and an approach to leadership that suggests that the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down instead of what we all know,” Harris continued spewing word salad. “The strength of leadership is based on who you lift up.”
Baier pointed out polling showing 79% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track under the current administration.
“Donald Trump has been running for office since–” Harris tried to protest, before Baier noted that she was the one holding office.
“Come on, you and I both know what I am talking about,” she retorted “You and I both know what I am talking about.”
“I actually don’t,” Baier clapped back “What are you talking about?”
When Harris refused to answer the question, he added “You have the lever of power.”
