Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan blasted Gov. Gavin Newsom for passing “ridiculous laws,” which have caused California to devolve into a state of “f***ing madness.”
He said that the Golden State’s liberal policies have driven former residents like himself to flee for less progressive pastures.
Rogan told his guest, Canadian professor Gad Saad, that he decided to move out during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests.
“I was like ‘This ain’t going in a good direction and I f—ing smell chaos,” he remarked.

The comedian stated that “the real stats” indicate how many of Californian’s “feel stuck” living there.
“If you ask people on the street in California, I think the number was 4-out-of-10 people they surveyed are thinking about moving out of California.”
Which he lays on the shoulders of the state’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, for passing increasingly far-left laws surrounding drug use, homelessness, and crime.

“It’s f***ing madness,” Rogan commented. “There’s so many businesses that are closing down, they don’t want to be a part of it anymore.”
“I don’t like when I don’t see any course correction, I don’t see any readjustment, I don’t see any ‘Hey we need to take care of disenfranchised people, but we also need to keep our streets safe, and we have to stop crime,'” he continued.
“There’s none of that, there more ridiculous laws, more lax on crime, more money for the homeless people ‘Give them free drugs, give them needles, they need clean needles,’ like what?”
The conversation was sparked when Rogan and Gaad were discussing potential replacements for President Biden in 2024, if mounting scandals and age related issues lead to another Democratic candidate’s nomination.
“It also seems like if this is all coming out, what a good way to remove a president that is mentally compromised,” the host stated.
“It seems like if you were in the Democratic Party and you thought like ‘Listen, there’s a certain amount of people that are going to vote blue no matter who, we just need a better representation.’”
Rogan immediately knocked the Vice President out of contention over her verbal shortcomings during her time in office.
“You could not have Kamala Harris,” he insisted. “She would not win, people would be very, very reluctant to vote for her for president I think after just listening to her talk for the last 3 years, like ‘What?’”
Which is when Gaad joked that Democrats could turn to Newsom, who he called the “Californian Justin Trudeau.”
Rogan noted that though Newsom “does spit out some good propaganda,” his policies have harmed the state he runs.
“The problem is he did such a bad job with California, they’re so vulnerable,” he concluded.
Newsom has apparently done “such a bad job,” that no parties involved in the writer and actor strikes in Hollywood want him to get involved with negotiations.
The governor offered to help broker a deal in May, when the writers went on strike over artificial intelligence usage and streaming platform pay, but neither the Writers Guild of America (WGA) or the studios were interested.
According to Newsom’s office, he reached out again to the WGA, the Screen Actors Guild, who joined the strike this month, and the studios this week.
His office’s senior adviser for communications, Anthony York, said that “thousands of jobs depend directly or indirectly on Hollywood getting back to work.”
“It’s clear that the sides are still far apart, but [Newsom] is deeply concerned about the impact a prolonged strike can have on the regional and state economy,” York added.
The Biden campaign is clearly “deeply concerned” about the strike’s effect on campaign donations.
On Thursday, TMZ reported that the President will not visit Los Angeles to shake down the Hollywood elite to fill his coffers until they’re once again gainfully employed.
For good reason, Biden raised more funds for the 2020 election in California than he did in any other state.
He raked in $105.5 million from his liberal fan base in California, which accounted for 21% of all campaign donations.
