A fresh release of Jeffrey Epstein estate photos by House Democrats is reigniting controversy after legendary singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, President Donald Trump, and other well-known figures appeared in images whose context remains unclear.
Democrats in Congress on Friday made public 19 undated photographs tied to the late financier’s assets and records, unveiling images that feature several high-profile individuals alongside Epstein and his longtime associate, convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell.
The photos, part of a far larger cache, show famous figures at what appear to be social gatherings, private settings, and aboard aircraft, though no specific dates or circumstances were provided.
Among the most notable appearances is Buffett, the Margaritaville icon who built a billion-dollar business empire and died in 2023 at age 76 following a battle with skin cancer.

Buffett appears in one image with his wife, Jane Slagsvol, standing next to former President Bill Clinton.
Epstein and Maxwell are also visible in that photograph. The image appears to carry Clinton’s signature, though the reason for the autograph is not explained.
There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by anyone depicted in the images, and the timing, setting, and circumstances surrounding the photos remain unknown.

Still, the release has renewed scrutiny of Epstein’s long-documented access to celebrities, politicians, and business leaders.
Buffett and Clinton shared a close friendship spanning decades. The singer performed at Clinton’s presidential campaign events in 1992 and 2000, and later appeared at an event supporting Hillary Clinton during her unsuccessful 2016 presidential bid.
🚨 BREAKING: Oversight Dems received 95,000 new photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate. These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.

Clinton has frequently praised Buffett’s music and generosity, and he offered an emotional tribute following the musician’s death in 2023.
Clinton, who has faced years of attention over past interactions with Epstein, has consistently denied any misconduct.
A spokesperson said in 2019 that the former president “knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York.”

The newly released images also include appearances by former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, filmmaker Woody Allen, and Virgin founder Richard Branson.
Several photographs place Epstein alongside these figures in settings that range from offices to private jets.
President Trump appears in multiple images included in the broader release. In two separate photos, Trump is shown alongside women whose faces are obscured.
One image is black and white and shows Trump surrounded by six women, while another blurred photograph places him next to an unidentified female companion. There is no indication of wrongdoing in any of the images.
Additional photographs reveal moments between Epstein and Trump ally Steve Bannon.
In one image, Epstein sits across a desk from Bannon, while another appears to show the two men together in a mirror selfie.
🚨EPSTEIN – BANNON
It is important to note that the photos of Trump and Epstein released today by House Democrats were taken BEFORE Epstein was exposed and charged with sex crimes in Florida and BEFORE Trump cut Epstein off in late 2004.

Bannon’s presence in the photos adds another layer to the political debate surrounding the release.
Woody Allen appears in four separate images. Two show the filmmaker standing with Epstein, another places him beside Bannon, and a fourth appears to have been taken aboard a private jet.
In that image, Allen is seated near Larry Summers and Summers’ wife, Elisa New.
Former Prince Andrew, identified in the materials by his legal surname Mountbatten-Windsor, appears in one photograph standing next to Bill Gates.
That image was reportedly taken at a malaria summit, and Epstein does not appear in the frame.
Later Friday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released nearly 80 additional photos, saying they are part of more than 95,000 images obtained from Epstein’s estate following a subpoena.
The expanded release included dozens of images showing portions of Epstein’s home in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
One photograph depicts Epstein smiling in a bathtub, resting his head on a towel and holding a curtain across his body.
It is unclear who took the picture or when it was captured. Another image shows a person holding a copy of the true-crime book Filthy Rich: The Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein, written by American author James Patterson.
A separate photo shows a pumpkin carved with a face and topped with a blonde wig.
A sign reads “TRUMPKIN” in all capital letters, along with the phrase “Make Halloween Great Again,” a clear play on Trump’s campaign slogan.

In a statement accompanying the release of more than 70 additional images, the Oversight Committee signaled that further disclosures are coming.
“In the interest of transparency, we will continue to release photos from the Epstein estate,” the committee said.
The photo dump arrives as the U.S. Justice Department approaches a deadline next week to release all documents related to the Epstein case.
That mandate stems from legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by Trump last month.
The Justice Department has until December 19 to make the materials public.
The department’s release is separate from the congressional investigation, which has independently sought documents and images from Epstein’s estate as part of its probe into his activities and network.
Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, framed the latest disclosures as part of a broader effort to force transparency.
“It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends,” Garcia said in a statement.
Trump addressed the photo controversy while signing a bill in the Oval Office on Friday.
“I haven’t seen it, but everybody knew this man, he was all over Palm Beach,” Trump said, adding that Epstein was widely photographed with influential figures.
“He has photos with everybody. He has hundreds and hundreds of people that have photos with him. That’s no big deal, I know nothing about it.”
