Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy didn’t hold back when he slammed President Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, calling both the President and the Democrats “liars” who are “worse than anything Trump’s done.”
The controversial pardon, issued Sunday evening, granted Hunter immunity for all crimes committed or potentially committed between January 1, 2014, and the present, despite Biden’s repeated assurances he wouldn’t consider such action.
Portnoy made his outrage known in a flurry of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Biden pardoning his son is the most predictable thing ever,” Portnoy tweeted.
“He’s a liar. The Democrats are liars,” he added. “Everybody knows they are liars. Yet they somehow still try to play the moral righteous card. That’s why they got smoked.”

Portnoy added that he would respect Biden more if he were transparent about his intentions.
“Side note I’d have more respect for him if he just said if Trump wins the election I’m gonna pardon my son cause I don’t want him to go to jail. I’d do the same for my family,” he wrote.
“The Dems just think we are all stupid and they can continually lie to our faces without consequences.”
Following his scathing critique, Portnoy went on a heated rant, describing what he saw as Democratic hypocrisy.
“I never want to hear Democrats lecture Americans about having the moral high ground ever again,” he said in a video post.
“What does he (Biden) do? Of course he pardons him, of course he does! Now, I’ll start by saying if I could do that for a loved one, a family member, I would probably do the same thing,” he went on. “I won’t lie about it. I’d be like ‘yeah, I’m going to protect my own, no sh*t.’”

He continued, blasting Democrats for painting Trump as a dangerous autocrat while engaging in what Portnoy sees as cynical political maneuvers.
“They’re worse than anything Trump’s ever done,” the Barstool founder noted. “It’s the lecturing, it’s the Democratic engine lying straight to our face, pretending they’re the moral righteous authority and thinking the American people are so stupid that we don’t see through it.”
Portnoy didn’t hold back his frustration, saying, “Blow up the Democratic Party,” who he called “scumbag liars,” who sit on a house of lies.
“This is why you got obliterated at the election,” he concluded.
Actor James Woods also criticized Biden’s decision, arguing that the pardon had more to do with money laundering than Hunter’s struggles with drugs and illegal firearms.
Woods turned his attention to the ongoing war in Ukraine, which he tied to allegations of financial corruption involving the Bidens.
“The issue isn’t the kid’s gun, crack, and child trafficking crimes; it’s the money laundering scheme headed by the Big Guy,” Woods tweeted.

“The U.S. has funded a $183B war to cover up the biggest criminal operation in American history,” he continued. “No wonder they tried to kill Trump.”
Woods further alleged that Biden just put a spotlight on his family’s actions by issuing a pardon that dates back to 2014.
“The Big Guy may have made a catastrophic strategic error with this pardon. Had he let the conviction and sentence stand, and then pardoned the kid for the specific tax and gun transgressions, he would have checked any further actions delving into the Ukraine grift, which is enormous,” he wrote in a follow-up post.
Woods claimed that the GOP would have “>appeared petty” for digging into any of Hunter’s potential old crimes, which would have allowed the “Biden Crime Cartel” to get away with the “biggest money laundering scheme in American history.”
“By issuing this absurdly broad pardon, one can easily infer the monumental magnitude of the Biden crime spree,” he insisted.
Woods called for hearings where “Hunter no longer enjoys Fifth Amendment protection by virtue of this pardon that reeks of guilt and moral decay.”
“Star Trek” actor George Takei, however, took a dramatically different stance, praising the President for prioritizing his family.
“I’m happy for the Biden family. This has been a long and undeserved nightmare. May they find peace these holidays,” Takei posted online.

“Happy Days” icon Henry Winkler joined in with a simple “thank goodness” in reaction to the pardon, while Star Wars alum Mark Hamill used the situation as an opportunity to criticize Donald Trump.
“Compared to the list of Traitor Tot’s pardons, hunter Biden is an absolute angel,”Hamill declared on the left-leaning social platform Blue Sky.
He punctuated his comment with a link to the official record of Trump’s presidential pardons between 2017 and 2021.
