Donald Trump Jr. and others criticized Vice President Kamala Harris after she appeared on the racy podcast “Call Her Daddy” while parts of the nation are in a state of emergency due to Hurricane Helene.
Trump Jr. and a cadre of internet critics trolled Harris on social media after reports on Friday revealed the Vice President had recorded an interview on Tuesday with Alex Cooper for her raunchy podcast amid the devastation from the weather event in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.
“Americans are dying and this is how the sitting Vice President is spending her time!” Trump Jr. tweeted.
“EXCLUSIVE: Kamala Harris taped explicit “Call Her Daddy” interview as Helene death toll rose.”

“While the death toll in North Carolina continues to rise, residents see their family members hanging in trees, and aid is actively being blocked by FEMA, Kamala Harris decided to film an episode of ‘Call Her Daddy’ Call Her Daddy is primarily a sex and relationship podcast,” someone else added.
Instead of addressing the ongoing crisis while talking to Cooper, Harris instead clapped back at Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who claimed the Vice President lacks anything to keep her ‘humble’ because she doesn’t have children.
“This is not the 1950s anymore,” stated Harris, who has two stepchildren by marriage to Doug Emhoff. “Families come in all kinds of forms.”
Kamala Harris and the Call Her Daddy chick attempt to come up with any governmental law that controls a man’s body. Both say there isn’t one. Then laugh. The correct answer is, yes, the draft. Which has cost over a million male lives in US history. pic.twitter.com/Q92XeEHn3I

“I don’t think she understands that there are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble,” Harris complained.
“Two, a whole lot of women out here who have a lot of love in their life, family in their life, and children in their life.”
In the podcast episode, which aired on Sunday, Cooper questioned Harris about Gov. Sanders’ remarks.

“I think it’s really important for women to lift each other up,” Harris shot back.
“The most important job I have; the greatest title I have is that of being a mom,” Sanders remarked on stage at a September Trump town hall in Michigan.
Sanders, one of Trump’s former White House press secretaries, said during her event in the swing state of Michigan last month.
“My kids serve as a permanent reminder of everything that is at stake in the country,” Sanders stated.
“Not only do my kids serve as a permanent reminder of what is important, they keep me humble,” she added. “Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn’t have anything keeping her humble.”
Cooper spoke out about the controversial Harris interview after it aired, and confessed that “not everyone will be pleased.”
In a follow-up video, Cooper pointed out that she “couldn’t hit every policy” with Harris, and instead focused on women’s issues.
“I totally understand everyone has different political opinions, but I feel really good that the entire episode is about women.”
“When I started Call Her Daddy, I really didn’t see it heading in the direction where I would be sitting down with the Vice President,” she continued. “But like, dream big kids.”
Cooper said she was “nervous and excited” ahead of interviewing Harris.
“I know I’m just going to do my best,” she remarked. “I know not everyone is going to be pleased with what I say and do, but we’re keeping this Call Her Daddy.”
“I have never in my life felt like an interview went by so fast,” she said from Dulles Airport in Washington D.C., after filming the podcast.
Cooper confessed that she “couldn’t hit every policy” with Harris, but said she wanted to keep the focus on women.

“I did what I knew would apply to the Daddy gang,” she noted. “And I talked about women.”
“I totally understand everyone has different political opinions, but I feel really good that the entire episode is about women.”
Though Cooper said she felt “really good” about the podcast, some viewers blasted her for lobbing “softball” questions, instead of addressing real issues.
“Ask her about what she’s doing to help hurricane victims instead of talking in circles about women’s rights,” one person wrote.
“Wait what about the abuse and crime caused by the illegal immigrants flooding the country,” another asked.
