Ultra-liberal “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill was blasted on the internet for ridiculing the ear injury former President Trump sustained from having his head nearly blown off by a gunman.
Trump narrowly escaped death at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, but was clipped in the ear by a bullet during an assassination attempt.
Although Trump survived, supporter Corey Comperatore was killed protecting his family, and two others were critically injured.
During the Republican National Convention on Monday, Trump received a heroes welcome as he made his first public appearance since the attempt on his life.

However, Hamill, 72, a vocal Trump critic, was less-than impressed that the Republican nominee was still standing, and mocked the white bandage on Trump’s ear.
“1st APPEARANCE of ludicrously oversized ear bandage, apparently not needed prior to tonight,” Hamill posted on X, accompanied by ear, laughing emojis and a photo of Trump at the RNC.
The “Star Wars” actor quickly faced criticism on social media.
“You ever got shot, Mark?” comedian Tim Young retorted. “Shut the f–k up.”
Radio host Anthony Cumia wrote, “Who could have imagined in 1977 as I left the theater absolutely amazed after seeing Star Wars that 47 years later the hero of that movie would turn out to be a tremendous f–king a–hole.”
“It’s so depressing how lame Luke Skywalker is in real life,” said outlet Not the Bee.
Hamill has consistently supported the Biden administration while repeatedly expressing disdain for Trump.
In March 2024, Hamill posted a photo of himself in an anti-Trump shirt, captioned, “I voted for four more years of an orange-free Oval Office.”
In April, he responded to a four-year-old post by Biden on X, which read, “Donald Trump is the worst president we’ve ever had.”

“Joe Biden is the best president we’ve ever had,” Hamill replied.
In May, Hamill made a surprise appearance at a White House press briefing, revealing that President Joe Biden had given him an Oval Office tour.
“Well, you know, I called him Mr. President. He said, ‘You can call me Joe.’ And I said, ‘Can I call you Joe B.-Wan Kenobi?’” Hamill said in a nod to the iconic George Lucas’ film franchise. “He liked that.”
Fellow far-left actor John Leguizamo re-posted a photo of Trump with his right ear fully intact on Monday, and claimed he lied about being shot.

“Not even a scratch! But milk it for all you can!” the actor wrote.
As it turns out, he was corrected by eagle-eyed social media users who pointed out that the photo was from 2022 event in Ohio.
Leguizamo has not deleted the post, but like Hamill, he mocked the bandage Trump wore to cover the wound on Monday.
“What quack doctor botched that up,” he asked hatefully. “Looks like his [drunk] friend put that on!”

Meanwhile, security at the Republican National Convention has been on high alert after a man was arrested near a security zone on Monday with a concealed firearm in a “tactical” backpack.
The arrest occurred about two blocks from the convention’s vehicle screening perimeter.
Authorities, who had not released the man’s identity as of Tuesday night, spotted him looking suspicious, wearing a ski mask and a large tactical backpack.
U.S. Capitol Police conducted the “subject stop,” Milwaukee police said.
Police determined the 21-year-old man lacked a permit to carry a concealed weapon and took him into custody.
On Tuesday, police shot a man holding two knives and advancing toward another man during an argument.
The incident took place about a mile from the convention in a residential area with a large homeless encampment.
On the convention’s first night, model and rapper Amber Rose passionately endorsed Trump.
“I’m no politician and I don’t wanna be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump,” Rose declared.
“I know this because for a long time, I believed those lies,” she added. “I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist.”
She explained that her perspective shifted when she researched and met Trump’s “red hat-wearing supporters.”
“I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay, or straight. It’s all love,” Rose stated. “And that’s when it hit me: These are my people. This is where I belong.”

MSNBC’s Joy Reid criticized Rose for gaining fame through the black community’s support.
“It’s ironic that they were able to recruit this young woman, who, she’s a racially ambiguous, I don’t want to say she’s black because she has said she is not, so I don’t want to say ‘this black woman,'” Reid said on MSNBC. Reid commented on MSNBC.
“But they brought somebody whose whole career is based in black culture. She used to be on a show on BET, that’s the reason that most people know who she is. She dated one of the most prominent African-American rappers in the business, in the history of hip-hop,” she said about rapper Kanye West.
“And the fact that she is the person they’re using to try to recruit people of color and to say that this is the person, the endorser of Donald Trump who you should trust, when she won’t even claim the culture that brought her to the table?” Reid added. “I am dubious that this will work.”
Rose responded to Reid on X. “Hi @JoyAnnReid I’ve never said I wasn’t black I said I identify as biracial,” she wrote.
“I’m not going to invalidate my white father to make you feel more comfortable,” she snapped back. “Stop being a race baiter ur president does enough race baiting for all of us.”
