Former Disney star Olivia Rodrigo is all grown up and handing out free samples the morning-after pill during stops on her tour.
Rodrigo partnered with the National Network of Abortion Funds for the North American leg of her Guts World Tour, which will stop in 30 cities, to hand out emergency contraceptive pills to her mostly teenage fan base.
The “Driver’s License” singer made national news for hosting the Missouri Abortion Fund and Right By You, both pro-abortion organizations, at her St. Louis stop on Tuesday.
The groups handed out abortion literature and doses of the Plan B pill in the Missouri city, despite the state’s nearly complete abortion ban.

The procedure is illegal unless the pregnant woman is in such a dire medical emergency that “a delay will create a serious risk of substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function.”
The law is so strict that it does not allow for women who have been impregnated by rape, or cases of incest to get abortions.
At the St. Louis show, concertgoers were given two doses of the drug, which is “a one-step tablet that helps stop a pregnancy before it starts.”
Along with the anti-contraception pills, fans received literature from Right For You, with the message “we can help you find abortion care” and contact information via text and a website link.
The Missouri Abortion Fund was more techie and cheeky with their promotional material, which included a QR code and a reference to Rodrigo’s hit “Bad Idea, Right?”
“Funding abortion? It’s a good idea, right?” the message red. “Pay for it.”

The brand of anti-contraceptive pill distributed to fans, Julie, prevents pregnancy by taking it within 72 hours of unprotected sex.
“The conversation surrounding emergency contraception is in need of a revamp. We want to make sure people never feel ashamed or embarrassed, that they understand how their bodies work and all the medicinal solutions available to them,” co-founder Amanda E/J Morrison said about the brand, which was launched in 2022.
“With Julie, people are getting more than a pill; they’re getting the information and support they need to make the best decisions. We want to help our customers live out a better morning after.”
Rodrigo partnered with the National Network of Abortion Funds through her own global initiative, Fund 4 Good, which is “committed to building an equitable and just future for all women, girls and people seeking reproductive health freedom.”
Prior to the first show of her Guts World Tour, the “Vampire” singer announced the partnership on her TikTok page.
“Before I pop onstage, I wanted to come on here and talk about things I’m really excited about,” Rodrigo told fans.
“The ‘Fund 4 Good’ works to support all women, girls, and people seeking reproductive health freedom.
The fund will directly support community-based nonprofits that champion things like girls’ education, support reproductive rights, and prevent gender-based violence.”
“For the North American leg of the tour, I’ll be partnering with the National Network of Abortion Funds to help those impacted with health-care barriers to get the reproductive health care they deserve,” she continued.
Rodrigo also committed a portion of the tour’s ticket sales to supporting local abortion funds in the respective city of the show.
The National Network of Abortion Funds are “excited” to be partnering with the the 21-year-old artist “as she’s uplifting the critical work of abortion funds, and leading (her fans) into the movement towards reproductive freedom!”
“Supporting abortion funds has never been more critical, in an era where abortion access is under relentless attack,” executive director Oriaku Njoku said in a statement.
