Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis went on an unhinged climate change rant about how humans are “f**king the world.”
Curtis was at San Diego Comic-Con promoting her violent new graphic novel “Mother Nature” at the event when she made the remarks.
“We’re f**king the world,” Curtis exclaimed. “There is a possibility of change, but we’re going to have to do it, and I’m really thrilled to see how enthusiastic you guys are for this beautiful piece of work.”
“It’s happening today! We are the hottest we’ve ever been in this country this week,” she continued.

“I mean, talk about good timing. Seriously, we couldn’t be talking about something more important.”
Curtis and co-writer, Russell Goldman, crafted a story where woman seeking payback for her father’s death goes after a nefarious oil company with “gruesome violence,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
These people laughable. Scream and cry, throw insults and then go get on their private jets with their designer bags most likely made from slave labor. 🤡 https://t.co/J2TJ54wkQL

“I’m not proselytizing,” Curtis wrapped up. “I don’t care what side you’re on. It’s happening, and there are things we can do to ameliorate it and to try to stem the tide, excuse the pun.”
“S**t is happening, and so it feels absolutely on point right now.”
Curtis claimed that she has known that the planet was in environmental “trouble” since she was a teenager.
“When I could barely get out of high school with my 840 combined SAT scores, I knew that we were in trouble,” she explained.
“I knew from an environmental standpoint. If I have any skill at all, it’s that I am emotional. My antennae are incredibly attuned, and I knew it.”
She said that starring in John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic Halloween and completing her character’s story in 2022’s Halloween Ends, helped motivate her to write the story, which she originally intended for the screen.

“I had this idea for a story, a movie, something in my head called Mother Nature,” Curtis detailed.
“Of course, I had some gruesome deaths because I have a very dark mind. When you see a few of them, you’ll understand. But I didn’t do anything with it.”
“When I made the Halloween movie later in life, which you guys supported, I came back from that energized,” she continued. “I had my mojo back for the possibility of how to tell this story.”
Curtis also credited her transgender child Ruby for inspiring her to create the graphic novel.
“I have a trans daughter. I don’t know many trans people, so I have sought to learn. I’m a student. I’m not going to pretend I know anything because I don’t know anything,” she said.
“But you start to learn. I think that’s the biggest message, that we’re all learning. We’re all learners, and we’re all trying to figure it out.”
Curtis dedicated her 2023 Academy Award for her supporting role in drama Everything Everywhere All At Once to Ruby by giving the statue gender neutral pronouns.

“In support of my daughter Ruby, I’m having them be a they/them,” she told the Today show in March.
When speaking to Spanish outlet Cadena SER in 2022, Curtis said that she was “scared” of anti-transgender legislation and compared it to fascism.
“I have a trans daughter. There are threats against her life, just for existing as a human being,” she said to SER.
“There are people who want to annihilate her, her and people like her. The level of hatred is as if we had not learned from fascism, as if we hadn’t learned what the result of that is: the extermination of human beings.”
Curtis double down when speaking about LGBTQ rights after winning her golden statue.
“There is no debate to argue here,” she said. “Trans people have been here forever and aren’t going anywhere. There is no ideology here. It’s simple. Trans rights are human rights. Anything stating the contrary is wrong.”
